RRedline and VC++ 3

Hello fellow Verite programmers....I just purchased a book that came packed with the learning edition of VC++ 3.0 and was wondering if I'll be able to work with the RRedline SDK...I'd heard the SDK works with VC++ 4.0 and higher...has anyone gotten it to work with 3.0?

Please lemme know so that I can start programming along with you.
